4 - Ingredient Chocolate Pudding
Delicious chocolate pudding made with just 4 ingredients
Nieces are visiting today, and I’m also craving something sweet—so I’m whipping up a quick chocolate treat. I don’t want any fuss, and this dessert comes together in just 15 minutes! It’s made with only four ingredients: milk, sugar, chocolate, and agar agar. There are no eggs, no gluten—making it a great option for kids with food allergies. The result is a creamy and sweet dessert, but the slight bitterness from the dark chocolate keeps it perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
INGREDIENTS
Full Cream Milk - 1 ltr
Sugar - 200g
Agar Agar powder - 14g
Dark Chocolate - 350g
Salt - a pinch (optional, to taste)
The main Ingredients
Chopping the dark chocolate
Mixing the ingredients

Pouring into the mould
Removing from the mould
Ready to enjoy!
Instructions:
Firstly, chop 350g of dark chocolate into smaller pieces
In a small to medium saucepan, combine 1 litre of milk, 200g of sugar, and 14g of agar agar powder. Once well mixed, add in the chopped chocolate.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously as you slowly bring it to a boil. This helps prevent any lumps from forming.
As soon as it reaches a boil, remove the pan from the heat.
You can strain the mixture through a sieve for an extra smooth finish, but this step is optional.
Pour the mixture into your mould of choice. I’m using a large rectangular mould, but you can use any shape or even individual moulds.
Let it chill in the fridge for about 2 hours. If you're using smaller moulds, it should set in around 30 minutes.
Once set, run a knife gently around the edges or press down the sides to loosen it.
Place your serving plate over the mould, then flip it upside down to release the pudding.
And that’s it—your creamy chocolate dessert is ready to enjoy!
